Name the project
Type the project name and pick its domain. Already keep a RAID log for it on BDC? Open that project instead, and its open risks, overdue actions and dependencies due soon feed the report.
Every Friday, the same question from the client: where do we stand? Paste your rough notes and get a red, amber or green rating for overall, schedule, scope and quality, each with a one-line reason, then the summary, what was done, what is next and the decisions you need. Last week is kept, so your sponsor sees the direction, not just today.

Stand-up notes, emails, chat updates, or just a few lines on what happened. The AI drafts red, amber or green for overall, schedule, scope and quality with a reason for each, and writes the summary, done, next and decisions needed.
Change any rating with one tap. The tool also suggests an overall rating from your open high-impact risks and overdue actions, so an optimistic green gets a second look.
Copy it into an email ready to paste, or download a BDC-branded PowerPoint status slide for the steering committee.
Next week, start a new report and this one is kept in the history with its ratings, for up to 26 weeks. The trend shows on screen, in the email and on the slide, and last week's plan is waiting to tick into this week's done list.
A RAG status report rates a project Red, Amber or Green so a sponsor can see its health at a glance. Green means on track. Amber means at risk but recoverable with the current plan or a small change. Red means it will miss its schedule, scope, cost or quality target without a decision or help from leadership. Most delivery teams send one every week.
Ask whether the team can recover on its own. If the plan, the people and the budget you already have will bring it back, it is amber. If you need a decision, money, people or a change in scope from someone above the project, it is red. Raise red early: a red that is reported in time is a request for help, while a red found late is a surprise.
Overall, schedule, scope and quality, each with a one-line reason. Overall is the one the sponsor reads first, so the tool suggests it from your open high-impact risks and overdue actions, and you decide.
Yes. Every Business Domain Connect account can fill in reports by hand without limit and draft 5 reports a month with AI from rough notes, with copy for email and a PowerPoint status slide. Tools Pro adds 60 AI status drafts a month and slides without the free-plan watermark, and covers every BDC tool.
They share the same projects. The RAID Log Builder is where you keep the risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies. The RAG Status Report is where you write the weekly status. Start a project in either one, and open the RAID log from the report whenever you want to add entries.
Only you. Reports are saved privately to your BDC account. The notes you paste are sent to the AI to draft the report and are not used for anything else.
