1. Who we are
Business Domain Connect (“BDC”, “we”, “us”) at businessdomainconnect.com is a training brand operated by Connect Orbit Technologies (also known as Connectorbit Technologies), F 2, Bee Kay Homes, Plot No 6, 1st Floor, NV Rajan Street, Madipakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600091, India. By creating an account or making a payment you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. What we offer
BDC provides online training on the business domains behind technology (for example retail, healthcare, insurance, banking, finance, government and logistics). Each domain track has recorded video sessions in English and Telugu, downloadable learning materials, an online proctored assessment and a certificate for those who pass.
Session 01 of every domain is free. The rest of a domain track (the remaining sessions, materials, the assessment and the certificate) is unlocked by paying for that domain's certification. Sessions that are still being produced are released over time, and you get them as they release.
3. Your account
- You need a free account, with a confirmed email address, to track progress and to buy a certification.
- Give accurate details. Your certificate is issued in the name on your account.
- You must be at least 18, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
- Keep your password safe. An account is for one person and must not be shared. We may suspend accounts that are shared or used from many places at once.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on the Certifications page and on each domain page. A single-domain certification currently costs ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 in India, or $40 to $60 outside India.
- Prices are final and include GST and all other taxes. Nothing is added at checkout.
- Learners in India pay in Indian rupees (INR); learners outside India may pay in US dollars (USD). Your bank may charge its own currency-conversion or international-transaction fees.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- A launch price, where shown, applies for a limited number of enrolments and may end without notice. The price you pay is the price shown when you pay. Later price changes do not affect a purchase already made.
- Corporate and team purchases may be invoiced separately on the terms agreed in writing.
5. Access
Once your payment is confirmed, the paid domain is unlocked on your account, usually immediately (see the Delivery Policy). Access to a paid domain is for as long as Business Domain Connect operates the platform. An All-Access pass lasts 12 months from purchase and includes domains released during that period.
6. How you may use the content
All videos, slides, handbooks, workbooks, notes, assessments and certificates are owned by Connect Orbit Technologies or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to watch and study them for your own learning. You must not:
- record, download (other than files we offer for download), copy, re-upload, resell, rent or share the content, or your login, with anyone;
- use the content to run your own training for others, commercially or otherwise, without our written permission;
- remove watermarks or copyright notices, or try to get around the website's access controls.
Breaking these rules may lead to your access being removed without a refund, and to your certificates being withdrawn.
7. Assessment and certificates
- The assessment is taken online and is proctored. You must keep your webcam on and must not copy content, switch tabs, look answers up online or use AI tools or anyone else's help.
- The pass mark, retake rules and grounds for withdrawal are set out in the Certification Standard, which forms part of these terms. The first retake is free; a second retake costs ₹500 ($10 outside India).
- A BDC certificate confirms that you passed our assessment of a business domain. It is not a government, university or accredited qualification, and must not be described as one.
- Anyone may check a certificate number on the verification page.
8. Refunds and cancellation
Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Free content and third-party services
Free sessions may be played from YouTube, and paid videos are delivered through a video-hosting provider. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites we link to.
10. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the training accurate and the website available, but we provide it “as is”. The training is for learning; it is not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. We do not promise that it will get you a job, a promotion or a particular result. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as internet outages or failures at a service provider.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
11. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, misuses the assessment, or is used for fraud. You may close your account at any time by writing to us. Closing an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund outside the Refund Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in force when you made a purchase applies to that purchase.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first. Most problems are solved quickly that way. Any dispute that cannot be settled will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
