Who issues it
Business Domain Connect is an independent training provider based in Vijayawada, India, founded and taught by Chandramouli Pasumarthy — Director of Quality Engineering and Delivery, with more than twenty years in enterprise IT across healthcare, retail, banking, insurance, financial services, government and logistics.
We say this plainly: a BDC certificate is an independent training certificate. It is not a statutory qualification, it is not government-accredited, and it is not awarded under any national or international awarding body. We do not display accreditation logos we have not earned. What it carries instead is a published syllabus, a real assessment that can be failed, and a public record anyone can check.
What is assessed
Every domain track follows the same nine-layer framework, so a certificate in one domain tells you the holder has worked through the same depth of structure as a certificate in another.
Domain
The shape of the industry, who the players are and what language it uses.
Business
How the money is actually made, and what the business is optimising for.
Process
The end-to-end flows, their sequence and their exceptions.
System
The application landscape and what each system is responsible for.
Data
The core entities, their relationships and the states they move through.
Integration
How systems exchange information, and where it goes wrong.

Following one real transaction from start to settlement.

What to test, what the business risk is, and what a good test case looks like.

Session 10 is the certification assessment itself. Contact hours are recorded on each certificate.
How the assessment works
Three things must all be satisfied. Completing the videos alone does not earn a certificate.
All nine framework sessions in that domain, with the handbook, workbook and test-scenario checklist.
Taken online with the webcam on. Tab switching, copying, and looking answers up from the web or from AI tools are not permitted. The assessment draws on all nine layers, so it cannot be sat after the free overview session alone.
A written analysis applying the framework to a real situation in that domain. It is read and marked by the instructor, not auto-scored. An analysis that does not demonstrate applied understanding is returned for rework rather than passed.
Pass mark
The pass mark is 60%. There are no graded tiers — a candidate either meets the standard for the domain or does not.
The certificate is issued. It states a pass; it does not grade one pass against another.
No certificate is issued, and the candidate is told which of the nine layers they fell short on. The first retake is free.
We publish the pass mark because a certificate everyone passes is not a certificate. We deliberately do not publish merit or distinction tiers: they make an ordinary pass read as a weak result, when in fact it means the holder met the standard. Candidates are told their own score privately.
Retakes, re-issue and validity
Retakes. The first retake is free. A second retake is ₹499. A retake may be sat no sooner than seven days after the previous attempt, so that it reflects further study rather than a second guess.
Re-issue. Lost your certificate? It is re-issued free of charge, with the same certificate number. The number belongs to the achievement, not to the copy.
Validity. A certificate does not expire. It records what was assessed on a given date, and both the assessment date and the issue date are printed on it and shown on the verification page — so a reader can judge for themselves how current it is.
When a certificate is withdrawn
A certificate may be withdrawn if the assessment was taken dishonestly, if the scenario analysis was not the candidate's own work, or if the certificate is misrepresented — for example, described as a government or accredited qualification.
A withdrawn certificate is never deleted from our records. Its number continues to resolve on the verification page and reports clearly that it has been withdrawn. Quietly removing a record would leave a certificate number that simply "does not exist" — which is indistinguishable from a typo, and would undermine every other certificate we have issued.
Verification
Every certificate carries a unique number in the form BDC-RTL-2026-0001 — the track code, the year of issue and a sequential number — together with a QR code that opens the verification page directly.
Anyone can check a number at businessdomainconnect.com/verify, with no account and no sign-in. The record shows the holder's name, the track, the assessment and issue dates, the result and the current status. Scores, contact details and account information are never published.
