Digital public services — identity, benefits, taxes and procurement at population scale.
Digital public services — identity, benefits, taxes and procurement at population scale. Every session in this track hangs off this one flow, so you always know which part of the business you are looking at.
Every BDC track answers the same nine questions in the same order, so knowledge from one domain transfers to the next. Here is what each layer looks like in Government.
Where are we?
Central, state and local departments, PSUs, citizens, businesses, auditors and e-governance agencies.
How does it make money?
Deliver services and benefits transparently at population scale. KPIs: service turnaround, coverage, leakage, grievance closure.
How does the work flow?
Apply → Verify identity & eligibility → Approve → Deliver benefit or certificate → Grievance → Audit.
Which applications run it?
Citizen portals, workflow & e-Office, identity/eKYC, DBT payment platforms, tax systems and dashboards.
What information matters?
Citizen/beneficiary, application, scheme & eligibility criteria, payment, grievance and audit record.
How do systems talk?
eKYC APIs, DigiLocker, bank/PFMS payment files, state–central data exchange, SMS gateways.
Follow one, end to end.
Student applies online → eKYC → Institute verifies → District approves → DBT to bank account → SMS confirmation → Utilisation audit
How do we prove it works?
Eligibility rules, de-duplication, accessibility, multilingual content, launch-day load and security audits.
What happens on a live project?
A scheme portal opens at 10 AM to two million users; the OTP service throttles and applications lock. Lessons in capacity and fallback testing.
Ten sessions, one per framework layer, closing with a proctored certification assessment. Session 01 is free for everyone, in English and Telugu.

The citizen service process, end to end, including appeals.
The platforms behind a citizen service.
The records that decide who gets what.
eKYC, benefit rails and the data that crosses departments.
One citizen's entitlement traced from application to money received.
Scale, inclusion and accountability — what must be proven.
A benefit run fails on name mismatches and thousands miss a payment.

Digital public services — identity, benefits, taxes and procurement at population scale. Deliver services and benefits transparently at population scale. KPIs: service turnaround, coverage, leakage, grievance closure. Without that picture, testers write cases against screens instead of against the business, requirements get read literally, and defects that matter most are the ones nobody thought to look for. This track gives you the business first and the systems second.
